2025 Soccer Season
Winter is here, but we are thinking of green soccer fields! Creston Valley Youth Soccer Association (CVYSA) is pleased to be planning our 2025 spring soccer season!
The season is scheduled to begin the week of April 7, 2025. The season start will be dependent on field conditions. We will have a better idea closer to the date whether the season will be delayed or not. We will update you on your child/children’s practice day and time as soon as the schedule is finalized. Registration Details:
Registration is quick and easy. Simply go to: https://crestonvalleysoccer.powerupsports.com to get started.
If you have previously registered your child/children in soccer (since 2019), all you need to do is log in to your profile and everything should be ready for you - including what age group your child/children will be in. The "early bird" registration rate is effective until April 4, 2025 and is automatically applied upon registration. After April 4, regular season rates will apply.
If you need assistance with registration or would like to make a cash or cheque payment, we will be in the front lobby of the Rec Centre on Tuesday, March 11 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
All players on the field must be registered or they CANNOT be on the field for insurance purposes.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please look into KidSport or Jumpstart grant funding, it may be available for your family. Information on KidSport can be found here, and information on JumpStart can be found here.
Payment must be received by the first practice. If you need to make alternate payment arrangements or have applied for KidSport/JumpStart funding, please let us know. Payment arrangements must be made directly with the CVYSA.
Please note that coaches are not able to accept registrations or payment.

The registration system will automatically place your child in the appropriate division based on their age. Any shuffling of kids from one division to another will be up to the discretion of the coach. Coaches will be in touch with their players closer to the season start.
As some may note, the divisions have changed to odd age numbers to reflect what most other clubs are doing. There is no real “change” as the children are still grouped together in two-year age ranges. One thing to note is that tournament age will start at U11.
Tournaments
We are hoping to send the U11 through U17 teams to at least two of the regular tournaments - Terry Walgren Memorial (Nelson, May 9-11), Clash of the Titans (Invermere, May 24-25) and the Kootenay Rovers Classic (Cranbrook - June 13-15). Of course, this is subject to any changes from the tournament organizers and is coach dependent.
